Ray's New Practical Arithmetic
The third book, the Practical Arithmetic, expands upon the earlier lessons and introduces new concepts. Decimals and percentages are introduced. There are demonstrations in working with what are known as "compound numbers" i.e., when units are mixed as in feet and inches or pounds and ounces, and numerous elements of financial arithmetic.
