Burke is in Fairfax County, Virginia. Burke's claim to fame during the civil war stemmed from a raid Jeb Stuart made on a supply depot located there. As he concluded the raid, in a gesture of playfully pulling someone's chain, he sent Montgomery Meigs, the Quartermaster General of the Union Army, a telegram complaining about the poor quality of mules the army had for Stuart to take to transport his stolen supplies. Electronically, you can email us at raggedsoldier@gmail.com As noted in the ordering information, although you can send an order on line, please do not send us your credit card number electronically because we do not have a secure line. If you call, please make sure you are speaking to a real person and don't leave your credit information on our answering machine. |
